Once more the wether forecast was for
heavy rain all week
Once more I had to confirm the walk
on Sunday at 1200
Once more the weather improved and we
did the planned walk
19 of us walking today
This included Robin and Sandra
It is almost two years since they last
walked
So it was really nice to see them
again
Living in UK they had struggled with
our higher temperatures
But both confirmed they enjoyed the
walk
It was also lovely to welcome Maureen
It is about 6 months since she last walked with the group
We last did
this walk in January, when the track was easy to follow
We did it in reverse (from Jalon) 5 weeks ago
It was then very overgrown, and we had
trouble finding the track
I thought it might be easier in this direction
But it was just as difficult, perhaps
a little worse
So we may have to find an alternative route for our Alcalali to Jalon walk
We had some discussion in June about
which bar to use in Alcalali
We all like bar Toni in the square
But it has too few tables outside for
a group of 20 or more
Bar Nonombre has plenty of space and
always makes us welcome
The German owner is very loud, which
some think rude
But others agree with me that it is
not meant to be, he is just loud
